Summit Baptist Church

Bro. Gard has been married to his wife, Barbara for fifty-five years. They have one married daughter who lives in Overland Park, KS with her husband and one son. The Gard's have one son who is also a minister in Moberly, MO. His son and their daughter-in-law have four boys. Bro. Gard was called to preach at the age of sixteen. He graduated from Nixa High School, Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, MO and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX. His pastorates include churches in Malone, TX; Lebanon, MO; El Dorado Springs, MO; Houston, MO; and Willard, MO. After retiring, he has been the Interim pastor of several churches in the Springfield area. He and Mrs. Gard reside in Springfield, MO.
